10. Enedina Arellano Felix (1961-Present)
At No. 10, we have a woman gangster who heads one of the biggest drug cartels in Mexico known as the Tijuana Cartel. Her six brothers used to head this cartel before her. She used to help them in laundering the money as well as taking care of the financial administration. However, a financial dispute led to the fall of the mastermind leading to her elevation to the top spot. Her brothers are now either dead or in jail. Hence, she is the undisputed lord of the cartel. She is a fugitive now, literally on the run.
9. Jemeker Thompson
The No. 9 spot in this list belongs to Jemeker Thompson. At one point in time, she was the queen pin of the cocaine trade in the US. Her former boyfriend leaked out information about her information to the police forcing her to be on the run for nearly two years. The police arrested her at her son’s 6th grade graduation ceremony. She served her prison term for 13 years and turned over a new leaf thereafter. She is an evangelical minister today advising people about the futility of crime.
8. Raffaella D’Alterio (1966-Present)

She was no spring chicken in this field of violence. She survived an assassination bid as well. Subsequently, the police arrested her in 2012 on charges of robbery, extortion and drug peddling.

People who know about the Medellin Cartel would be terrified of this dreaded gangster, Griselda Blanco. Known as the Black Widow in her circles, Griselda is responsible for more than 200 murders during the late 1970s and the early 1980s. She has been a criminal since her childhood having murdered her first victim at the age of 11 years. She had a fantastic distribution network in the US that fetched her more than $8 million a month. She is a violent lady having lived a dangerous life throughout. Naturally, she had a violent death as well. A motorcyclist shot her in cold blood and coolly walked out of the shop leaving her in a pool of blood.
5. Samantha Lewthwaite (1983-Present)
At No. 6 we had the Black Widow. We have a White Widow at No. 5. Samantha Lewthwaite is one of the dreaded terrorists on the run. The wife of slain 7/7 terrorist bomber Germane Lindsay, Samantha has charges of murdering more than 400 people. Many countries such as Kenya, the UK, and others are in her search. There is an Interpol Red Alert Notice against her name. She is reportedly having links with the Somalia-based Islamic terrorist group Al-Shabaab.

Charmaine Roman, the dreaded gangster at the No. 4 spot in this list is a notorious drug dealer. Involved in the Jamaican drug trafficking cartel, she had been living in the US illegally. She is a cold-blooded gangster in many ways. In addition to dealing in drug trafficking, she used to manage her accounts by laundering the money through a local casino and an investment company by the name of Sure Thing Investments. Her arrest was a literal fluke. Police had doubts that she was involved in drug trafficking but they did not have the inkling that she was the ultimate boss of the syndicate. Today, she is in jail.
3. Phoolan Devi (1963-2001)
One of the most notorious female bandits in India, Phoolan Devi occupies the No. 3 position in this list. She was born in a very poor family and had an unsuccessful married life. She ran away and joined a dacoit gang. She was the only female member of that gang. She developed intimate relationships with a particular member of the gang. Enraged at this relationship, a gunfight ensued killing her lover. The upper-caste members of the gang kidnapped her and gang raped her violently for several days. She managed to escape from their clutches and contacted the other members of her erstwhile gang. Subsequently, she shot the 22 upper caste gang members in cold blood in full sight of the villagers. Subsequently she surrendered to the police and underwent a prison sentence. Subsequently, she fought elections and became an elected Member of Parliament. Her upper caster rivals killed her in cold blood outside her bungalow in 2001.

The No. 2 position in this list goes to Santokben Jadeja, the only Indian woman who led an underworld crime enterprise. Known as the Godmother, she had a simple childhood in the district of Porbandar in Gujarat. Her husband, a mill worker, accidentally became a gang leader when he murdered a local gangster. This made his rivals kill him in cold blood. Santokben took over his gang and extracted revenge by unleashing a reign of terror in her town. She had every member of the rival gang executed. The irony is that she joined politics in the same manner as Phoolan Devi did. Santokben became a Member of the Legislative Assembly in Gujarat. She died in 2011 due to a heart attack.
