Also referred to as Federation of Saint Christopher and Nevis the two island in West Indies make up the country. The people who were inhabitants of that country were the Caribbean people before being colonized by the British and the French. The country gained independence in 1983. The country is most famous for pristine beaches, amusing climate, rain forests among other things. The population of the country is much lower 6 times than that of Maldives as there are about 50,000 on average inhabitants of this country. The economy of the country is mainly dependent of tourism, small manufacturing industries and agriculture.
